Lauren Rottet, Founding Principal, Rottet Studio
Lauren Rottet is a highly accomplished architect, as well as an interior and furniture designer. As the founding principal of the Rottet Studio, an international architecture and interior design firm, she is the only woman in history to be elevated to “Fellow” status by both the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and International Interior Design Association (IIDA).
Rottet Studio is ranked among the Top 100 Design Giants list and recognized as one of the Top Three Most Admired Design Firms in the world. The firm has an extensive portfolio of corporate, hospitality, residential and maritime projects for the world’s leading companies, including Goldman Sachs, Disney, Viacom, the New York Stock Exchange, Paul Hastings, Target, Howard Hughes Company, Brookfield, Loews, Four Seasons, Starwood, Marriott, Hyatt, Hilton, Belmond, and more. Lauren is known as an innovator and teacher, devoting significant time to the advancement of the profession of design and architecture.
She has been named “Interior Designer of the Year” by Interior Design’s Hall of Fame, “Designer of the Year” by Boutique Design magazine, and has been inducted into Hospitality Design magazine’s Platinum Circle. Her furniture and product designs have earned her four gold medals for the “Best of NeoCon” and a “Chicago Athenaeum Award.” Her furniture line, Rottet Collection, was introduced in 2017.
